Quick answers for using Fantasy Matchup Edge

What does “IF STARTS” mean?

Where a player projection is labelled IF STARTS, the model is answering: “What do we expect from this player if they start the match?” It does not mean FME is guaranteeing or predicting that the player will start.

What does “100,000 simulations” mean?

For our simulation-based projection pages, the model runs the fixture repeatedly across many plausible match outcomes. That gives us more than one average score: it also lets us estimate ceiling, haul and threshold probabilities. See How Our Model Works for the fuller explanation.

How do I know how current a page is?

Live data panels are designed to show the relevant Gameweek and a freshness/generated timestamp. Use that information as the source of truth for whether a projection has been refreshed for the upcoming fixtures.

Why does a page say “Coming Soon”?

We are launching FME in stages. A Coming Soon label means the URL and intended product are part of the site architecture, but the underlying tool or dataset is not ready for public use yet. We would rather show that clearly than publish a thin or half-working product.
